Eco friendly recycled yarns

One thing I miss about living in Southern California is the oncoming cold weather. Actually, I don’t miss that one bit! ...but if I did, these yarns would warm me to my toes. This particular skein is spun from mill-ends wool that was dyed along with the Easter eggs. Love these happy colors!

This beautiful green skein is made from the fiber of banana trees. (the decaying outer layers of the banana trees are harvested and soaked under water to result in a pulp suitable for spinning.)
