Tsong Thongs - for your happy feet
Sunday, March 5th, 2006
These classic comfy thongs are designed by children whose lives have been impacted by the Tsunami. A portion of the profits (30%) goes to rebuilding schools in tsunami-devastated Aceh, Indonesia and to a scholarship fund for the 10 year old designers. The rest (after cost, shipping and duties) goes to building a brand that will stamp out child labor. Fair trade? Produced by SPSI-TSK workers in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Unswoosher is made in a safe, comfortable union factory with environmentally sound, all-vegetarian materials, including 100% organic hemp uppers. These hip shoes feature a hand-drawn “anti-logo” logo …and that hand-drawn red dot on the front? …yup! …for kicking corporate butt!
