Recycled wood and bakelite plastic rings

ring007.jpg
These rings, handmade by artist Amanda Loos from Los Angeles are reusing materials that would otherwise be put to waste. She rescues exotic hardwoods (from her father who works in construction) which she then combines with vintage bakelite plastic and comes up with a look that is a blend of tribal, modern, spiritual, fusion. (I just made that up…but it seems to fit!) To say each ring is unique is an understatement. In addition, for each piece she sells, she plants two trees via Trees for the Future. Earrings and necklaces are also available.
