This "rug" will ultimately end up at a dump b/c after being crafted into it's current form it is not capable of being recreated (or recycled) into anything else. It's owner will tire of it and it's style will go out of date. It's just a on a pi tstop to a landfill via your house. It's not recyclable, it's downcycled and made from toxic materials. Rubber and all the other chemicals that go into tire manufacturing will slowly leak toxic gas into it's environment. Please read Cradle to Cradle, it will educate you on the real meaning of "eco-friendly." This isn’t eco-friendly, nor is it sustainable.
