According to the Smencils website, it takes an entire cedar tree to make 172,000 pencils however it takes only 430 newspapers to make smencils. Guaranteed to continue to smell for 2 years after purchase, these smelly pencils are available in bubble gum, cherry, cinnamon, grape, pineapple, fruit punch, peppermint, water melon, root beer and orange.
