Scottd,
Thanks for going through all the trouble to give us the details. $50.00 minimum seems reasonable but that shipping charge is pretty horrible! But, I think that is what it actually costs for 10kg from Kenya to the US....so it is not a rip-off. We'll keep tabs and notify GreatGreenGoods fans if Kittengale ever start importing their goods to the USA for sale.
again, thanks for checking into the details and letting us all know!

What a mess. They require hoops and bounds to order a few cool items..

THEY SAY:
Minimum order US$ 50.
Minimum shipping is US$145 for a 10kg box. That'll fit about 16 - 20 objects of that size (4-7").

I'll need a scanned pdf file of your VISA or Mastercard each side, and a signed letter authorising me to debit the amount we agree on.

THE GOOD NEWS IS
They regard the glass we make as food safe.

I'm looking at some items that I'm hoping to purchase from the Kitengela Glass shop. (pending my email request of items and costs.) I'm sure this is a stupid question but I guess the heat would make the glass items food/drink safe, don't you think? I mean I would had to purchase this stuff and not be able to use it..

BTW, I love the Spice girl bottles. Thinking of using them in my kitchen... Nice..
