New Orleans artist Margaret Coble evacuated to Louisville, Kentucky when hurricane Katrina hit the city in August 2005. She is still working her way back but her heart hasn’t left NOLA. She is making clocks from recycled records that visualize her civic pride.

These look great! I love the speckly effect on the records. I’ve tried record clocks before but never anything as cool as this!!

I really like the “heart” graphic. Something about the simplicity of the stars and lines going around the outer edge is itself edgy and looks very New Orleans to me.
